This DVD contains the actual, uncut 8mm footage that was filmed by a crewman during 1972 Tonkin Gulf deployment.
This is one of the very best home movie films I have in my collection, and is also a fantastic USS Midway film.

Great scenes of the flight deck throughout.
Good UNREP and VERTREP scenes.
Great flight operations, filmed from multiple vantage points.
The vast majority of this was filmed on the ship. However, there are some scenes ashore in Cubi Point and in Hong Kong.
Also great footage of Christmas Bob Hope USO show.
