This footage includes highly unique footage of Marine AV-8 Harriers performing carrier qualifications. You will see the Harrier do running take-offs off the angle, and then perform a side-step approach and landing to spot 3 (he must have thought he was a helicopter!)

There is a brief shot of the air wing doing a fly-over

After that, the camera goes into an E-2C and we go flying. Great formation flying with other E-2C’s, and then we are flying in the same air wing formation doing a fly-by the Midway

Then we do one bolter and a trap

Next are a couple of touch and goes and traps from the LSO platform

The DVD ends with another KMID-TV production, this time a pitch for Navy Relief from the admiral
