This DVD contains contains the original U.S. Navy training film titled, "Carrier Landing Mishaps". This film describes the various ways a pilot and his airplane can crash on an aircraft carrier, and was used for training student pilots

There are 25 crashes on this DVD. While several are on another of my DVDs that has over 250 PLAT flight deck mishaps, there are a number that are only found on this film and DVD. The narrator gives detailed explanations on why these crashes happened, how to avoid them, and on how to make a proper carrier landing. All scenes filmed on aircraft carriers (nothing on land)

As a bonus for A-7 Corsair II fans, this film uses the A-7 for all flight, launching, landing and flight deck taxiing footage. LOTS of great A-7 footage

This is a fairly uncommon training film that will be greatly enjoyed by any Naval Aviation fan

The footage has not been edited. It has been left exactly as it was captured from the original 16mm film. It is black and white. As always, if you have ANY questions, please do not hesitate to ask!!
