This DVD contains the actual, uncut 8mm home movies filmed by a crewmember.

USS America (CVA-66) 1966-68 cruises (Med Cruise, then World Cruise, end up in Cubi and the Tonkin Gulf). This is a 2.5-hour epic that will knock your socks off. Includes the best, ever, home movie of a barricade: An E-6 landing missing his right wheel. This is actually an incredibly well documented period of time aboard the America. Very little liberty stuff. Also see where an A-4 nearly fell off the ship (the film picks up with hanging off the angle), and then trying to get it back on deck. Just lots of very cool, very interesting things.

Great scenes of the flight deck. This film provides a great look at lengthy period of USS America history.

Good liberty scenes, but not too much. This DVD is mostly aboard the America.

Also, a very unique event caught on film. We are in Spain, watching a bull fight. Suddenly, the bull takes out the matador. I mean knocked on his back, and then the bull hits him again with his horns. Hurray for the underdog!
